We are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer to join the Industrial Defender (ID) professional services team. The Service Engineer is responsible for the overall implementation and deployment of Industrial Defender's leading OT security and compliance product for our global customers. This role will be a forward deployed engineer to install and configure the ID solution on customer systems.

We are seeking a highly motivated Service Engineer to join the Industrial Defender (ID) professional services team. The Service Engineer is responsible for the overall implementation and deployment of Industrial Defender's leading OT security and compliance product for our global customers. You will be on the leading edge of securing and protecting vital critical infrastructure and industrial operations such as electric utilities, oil & gas, chemical, and manufacturing industries from cyber threats.

This role will be a forward deployed engineer to install and configure the ID solution on customer systems. You will work primary at customer sites and remotely. You will ultimately ensure a successful outcome and the implementation of the solution to the customer’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers to understand their compliance and security requirements.
  • Install and configure ID software and devices.
  • Integrate ID products into customer environment.
  • Troubleshoot multi-layer issues - network, firewall, operating systems and devices.
  • Train customers on ID products.
  • Travel and work at customer sites per project demand.
  • Work with project manager to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in computer science, Information Systems or Engineering related field.
  • 5+ years of professional technical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, Active Directory, IDS/Snort, networking, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
  • Strong experience of Shell scripting, Bash, PowerShell, Python, SQL, JSON and XML.
  • Self-directed and motivated, with ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel on customer needs.
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP, NIST, and other cybersecurity regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Industrial Control System (EMS/DCS/SCADA) experience is a plus.
