Verano Names New Vice President of Worldwide Sales
ABB Leader Dan Davis Brings Extensive Electrical Industry Experience to Verano
MANSFIELD, Mass., May 24, 2004
Verano, the leading provider of security solutions for mission-critical industrial operations, announced today the naming of Dan Davis as vice president of worldwide sales. Davis will be responsible for revenue generation of all Verano products and services, working at the Mansfield headquarters.
Prior to joining Verano, Dan held various senior level positions at industry leading companies, ABB and Schneider Electric, most recently serving as senior vice president of sales and strategic marketing with ABB. He was responsible for sales of all ABB offerings to electric, gas and water utility customers in the United States, representing an annual business of more than $1 billion. Before ABB, Dan worked at Schneider Electric, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and product development across all product lines. Davis holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University. He also completed Kellogg's Executive Management Program at Northwestern University, as well as the International Management Program at the University of Western Ontario.
