INDUSTRIAL DEFENDER EXPERT TO SPEAK ON CYBERSECURITY MONITORING AT ABB CONTROL SYSTEM CONFERENCE 2012
Walt Sikora's Session To Highlight Verification of Industrial Defender's Automation Systems Manager on ABB's 800xA Control System and Effective Security Monitoring of Automation Systems

This year's conference and expo will be held September 26-28, 2012 in Budapest, Hungary.
Sikora will be presenting, "Security Monitoring Across 800xA and the Automation Environment," where he will address the unique challenges control systems operators face as they aim to improve the cybersecurity of increasingly complex and interconnected process control operations. He will discuss the recently completed testing and verification of Industrial Defender's ASM Monitor solution by the ABB 800xA product team. Additionally he will share his insight on how security monitoring can be the starting point for improving situational awareness and reduced cyber risk. Also in this session, Sikora will highlight how Industrial Defender's security, compliance and change management innovations build upon the capabilities of 800xA application PC, Network, and Software Monitoring (PNSM), which monitors system availability.
