Vice President of Corporate Marketing

Position Description:
The VP of Corporate Marketing will report to the CEO and is a member of the company’s executive team. He/She will be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of the marketing organization and will work across company disciplines to deliver impactful marketing programs that drive quality sales lead generation and results. The VP will work closely with product management/product marketing and will be responsible specifically for corporate marketing, brand management, PR, communications, web, collateral, webinars and events, and direct mail/email campaigns. The VP will drive the Company's efforts to achieve revenue goals while positioning the company as a visionary leader in its market.
Responsibilities:
- Define the appropriate marketing organization for the company
- Strategic planning including corporate positioning, product positioning and competitive analysis
- Provide oversight to the PR firm on strategy, story development, corporate communications and marketing directions
- Work collaboratively with product management/product marketing on product launches, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analyses and general sales support
- Define and direct the marketing staff to deliver integrated marketing programs for demand creation and lead generation
- Interface with sales management for lead tracking and management
- Develop and manage the company’s annual marketing budget
- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
- Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events
Requirements:
- 10 years marketing experience, proven track record in security field
- Minimum 4 years senior management experience
- Demonstrated experience marketing products and services
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales support strategies that have consistently met or exceeded objectives
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment
- Substantial experience working with business and industry press
- Effective public speaking skills and experience
- Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities
- Proven self starter
- Bachelor of Science in business-related field; MBA a plus
