Software Project Developer

Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Project Developer to support the rapid growth of our Global Security Operations Center. In this role balancing technology and customer-focus, you will collaborate with our Infrastructure and Security Operations Center teams to scope and develop custom automation solutions for rapid triage and assessment of Security Threats.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom automation solutions for security threat assessments, to include detailed requirement specifications, design, development, implementation, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for Threat Services cyber-security monitoring and management, both in design and implementation of next-generation solutions.
• Maintain, enhance, and support our existing suite of monitoring and management solutions.

Requirements:

• B.S.c Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience, to include 2+ years developing, maintaining, or customizing Security Event Management products, such as any of: ISS RealSecure or SiteProtector, netForensics, ArcSight ESM, Tier-3 Huntsman, or OpenService ThreatCenter. SenSage, IBM Tivoli or HP OpenView.
• 2+ years of C/C++ and Java programming experience utilizing MS Windows and UNIX/Linux technologies.
• Working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.
• Proven success in implementing effective processes and solutions to network and security problems.
• Strong interpersonal, customer interface, problem-solving, time management, project management, communication and presentation skills.
• Self-directed and motivated, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other Security certification is a plus.
