Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Security Specialist to support the rapid growth of our cyber security services in the North American market. In this role balancing both a technology and customer-focus, you will collaborate with our sales team in assessing customer technical needs and deploying our state-of-art cyber security solutions at key customer sites. Focusing on real-time mission critical industries in the area of securing SCADA, DCS and other process control systems, you will be on the leading edge of a critical and fast moving market.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical consulting and needs assessment to determine customer cyber security vulnerabilities and solution needs.
- Participate in a team conducting Vulnerability Assessments, Risk Assessments, and NERC CIP Compliance Gap Analysis.
- Optimize our customer network security by providing ongoing performance assessments with our Reliability Assurances Services, ensuring peak performance of customer networks.
- Collaborate with our sales team to provide technical support in the pursuit of new business opportunities, including proposal preparation.
- Provide technical training to our customers and partner companies.
- Maintain current knowledge of process control technical security vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- 2+ years as a SCADA/Process Control analyst/engineer, technical security consultant or an IT networking and security specialist, identifying and resolving systems vulnerabilities in an enterprise systems environment. BS degree preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.
- Proven success in implementing effective processes and solutions to network and security vulnerability problems.
- Knowledge of North American security regulations, standards, and best practices, and experience with NERC CIP and DHS CFATS a plus.
- Strong technical skills, with broad range of OS experience, to include UNIX, Linux, Windows.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent client problem-solving, time management, project management, communication and presentation skills.
- Self-directed and motivated, with ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other Security certification is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%, to include some international travel.
