Global Sales Manager - Security Managed Services

Position Description:
Unlimited earning potential exists for an exceptional sales talent to grow our managed services business in the process control cyber security market. Tremendous potential market opportunity exists to upgrade mission critical industries with cyber security protection establishing Industrial Defender as the standard of choice in this critical growth area.

A key opportunity is available based in Foxboro, MA to sell the only Managed Security Services offering designed specifically for the industrial control system and SCADA environment. Industrial Defender Threat Services is a Co-Managed Security Services (CMSS) offering that is part of a comprehensive Defense in Depthâ„¢ solution enabling efficient Assessment, Mitigation and Management of cyber security risks and vulnerabilities. Industrial Defender has proven experience monitoring and managing cyber security for real-time process control / SCADA systems in over 170 plants across 21 countries.

Reporting to our VP of Worldwide Sales, the Global CMSS Sales Manager will be responsible for the CMSS sales objectives in North America and Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, generate and close business deals with current security customers as well as targeted accounts in the energy, utilities, chemical, oil and gas, manufacturing, water / wastewater, pharmaceutical and transportation markets.
  • Establish key business relationships and manage ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Continually identify new sources of business.
  • Institute effective sales management and reporting systems.
  • Provide feedback on competitive product, services and marketing information.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Enterprise Security and / or managed services C-level / director sales experience.
  • 10+ years of sales experience selling security, process control and/or IT products and services with 7+ years in 1 or more of these markets: energy, utilities, chemicals, oil and gas, manufacturing, water / wastewater, pharmaceutical and transportation.
  • Technical BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong, verifiable direct sales track record of exceeding quota.
  • Innovative, able to create business value for different stakeholders in the complex sale (IT involvement and / or plant vs. HQ).
  • Proven track record of growing and managing direct relationships with end user management.
  • Hunter by nature, with ability to manage accounts / opportunities from development through to order success.
  • Goal-oriented, aggressive self-motivator, capable of keeping company vision in mind while maintaining successful strategies to achieve personal gains.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing team member.
  • Ability to leverage both internal and external company resources in pursuit of business goals.
  • Solid business sense, with ability to bridge the gap between technology and business.
  • Critical infrastructure control systems / SCADA / process manufacturing familiarity preferred; cyber security knowledge is ideal.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 60%+

Other:
The candidate should be a creative, analytical thinker exhibiting strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation and persuasion skills. An entrepreneurial spirit is necessary as candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment; even-temperament and team-player collaborative aptitude is a must.
