Position Description:
Unlimited earning potential exists for exceptional sales talent to grow our business in the emerging process control cyber security market.
Opportunities are available in the US to sell our Industrial Defenderâ„¢ product, the market's only Mission Critical Real-time System Perimeter Protection and Security Event Management System.
Tremendous potential market opportunity exists to upgrade mission critical industries with cyber security protection establishing Industrial Defender as the standard of choice in this critical growth area. Reporting to our VP of Worldwide Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales objectives in the assigned region.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, generate and close business deals with new and existing targeted accounts in the energy, utilities, chemical, oil and gas, water / wastewater, pharmaceutical and transportation markets.
- Establish key business relationships and manage ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Continually identify new sources of business.
- Institute effective sales management and reporting systems.
- Provide feedback on competitive product and marketing information.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of sales experience selling security, process control and/or IT products and services with 7+ years in 1 or more of these markets: energy, utilities, chemicals, oil and gas, water / wastewater, pharmaceutical and transportation.
- Technical BS degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record of growing and managing direct relationships with end users.
- Hunter by nature, with ability to manage accounts / opportunities from development through to order success.
- Goal-oriented, aggressive self-motivator, capable of keeping company vision in mind while maintaining successful strategies to achieve personal gains.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing team member.
- Ability to leverage both internal and external company resources in pursuit of business goals.
- Solid business sense, with ability to bridge the gap between technology and business.
- Previous experience in process control implementation of IT solutions is preferred; cyber security knowledge is ideal.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+

The candidate should be a creative, analytical thinker exhibiting strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, presentation and persuasion skills. An entrepreneurial spirit is necessary as candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment; even-temperament and team-player collaborative aptitude is a must.
