Position Description:
The Product Manager provides product planning, product marketing and lifecycle product management for selected security, compliance and operations management products that are purpose-built for Process Control Systems and related industrial automation environments. Primary customer applications include "Smart Grid" power transmission control systems, power generation, refineries, chemical plants and similar critical infrastructure control systems. This position works across Industrial Defender's market-leading suite of Automation Systems Management solutions, with a special focus on end point security, event management and performance management technologies.

The Product Manager manages selected products throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product requirements from customers, OEM partners, industry forums, relevant standards, and competitive analysis, defining and articulating the product vision, working closely with engineering to deliver winning products, and working with Sales, Service and Marketing to effectively position and promote the product and assure that goals are met for revenue and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize product and customer requirements and features, working directly with Engineering as Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Be an expert with respect to competitive products and industry technology and standards trends
  • Enable direct and partner Sales teams to effectively sell the products, including training, collateral, tools, demos and other select customer engagements
  • Be the go-to product champion

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience as Product Manager
  • 5 years' experience in technology companies with exposure to systems management products
  • Excellent analysis, communications and teaming skills
  • Ability to work hands-on with technology for feature analysis and product demonstration
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Desired: Exposure to industrial automation systems and related market segments
  • Desired: Experience with cyber security and network management technologies
