John Shaw

Senior Vice President, Products and Technology

John Shaw, SVP of Products and Technology, brings over 30 years experience in data networking to Industrial Defender. Prior to Industrial Defender, Shaw was Executive Vice President at GarrettCom, Inc., responsible for strategic marketing to the power utility sector and general management of the IP routing, serial communications and cyber security product areas. Prior to its merger into GCI, Shaw served as President and CEO of DYMEC, a manufacturer of utility-hardened networking equipment. John has also held executive positions at Tellabs, Newbridge Networks (now part of Alcatel-Lucent) and NYNEX (now Verizon). He holds a B.M. in Music Theory from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Boston University.
